Welcome!

Do you get anxiety when you think about having to cook a meal for yourself, your friends, or your partner?  Do you just want to learn how to make simple meals with ease?  Then, this is the blog for you.

This blog will provide you with recipes that allow you to be creative, they allow you to be free, and to get comfortable in the Kitchen.

“The only real stumbling block is fear of failure. In cooking you’ve got to have a what-the-hell attitude.” ― Julia Child

My posts will not include specific measurements and are free to your interpretation.  Each recipe is meant to be simple so that even those who are reluctant to cook can make a great meal.  You will do a lot of tasting along the way but the goal is to get you comfortable enough to try your own recipes and to share them here with everyone.

Foraging Fridays: Often my recipes are based off of simply what I have leftover in the fridge at the end of the week.  I try my best to make sure that no food goes to waste, and sometimes that means getting a little creative.

For the recipes, I try to cook mostly with non-processed items, a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables and meats. During the week, I use my slow-cooker heavily and it will certainly be the star of some of my recipes.

All that being said – you can take the girl out of Buffalo, but you can’t take the Buffalo out of the girl. You can still count on recipes of Chicken Wing Dip – or Buffalo Chicken Dip, as non Buffalonians call it – and other full fat yummy dishes sure to please a crowd. Can we say Superbowl Party?!

When you try a recipe, please take a photo and post it to that recipe! Ask questions, post modifications, and have fun with each and every meal.
